Rajit Sukumaran is the Senior Vice President and Managing Director for East Asia & Pacific at IHG Hotels & Resorts. With over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Rajit is responsible for IHG’s growth, performance and reputation across more than 20 countries in the region, overseeing close to 250 hotels and more than 125 in the pipeline. Based in Singapore, he also serves on the Europe, Middle East, Asia, and Africa (EMEAA) leadership team and IHG’s global DE&I Board. Rajit joined IHG in 2017 as Chief Development Officer for AMEA and later expanded his role to include Europe, driving IHG’s growth strategy across the EMEAA region. Prior to IHG, he was Senior Vice President of Acquisitions and Development, Asia Pacific, at Starwood Hotels & Resorts, where he led the growth of Starwood’s ten hotel brands across the region.
